Content Marketing Associate

At Move This World, we’re looking for a full-time Content Marketing Associate to support strategic business development and key marketing initiatives in the US K-12 education space.

About Move This World

Move This World's social emotional learning program provides PreK-12 educators and students with video tools to strengthen their social and emotional wellbeing in order to create healthy environments where effective teaching and learning can occur. Through evidence-based, developmentally appropriate videos that open and close the school day, Move This World ritualizes a daily practice of identifying, expressing and managing emotions. To date, Move This World has impacted over half a million students and teachers across 28 states and Washington D.C. 

About the Role:

As Move This World’s Content Marketing Associate, you will own Move This World’s content marketing strategy. You will work closely with our Partnerships Director to plan a comprehensive content calendar, implement your vision and analyze results. You will ensure that we provide informative, actionable and inspiring resources for school and district leaders, teachers and parents. You will write blog posts, white papers and press releases. You will create and compile resources for presentations at conferences, events and webinars. You will work closely with the Digital Marketing Associate to promote and share content initiatives. Your efforts will continue to establish Move This World as a trusted leader within the field of social emotional learning.

  • Work closely with Move This World’s Partnerships Director to develop content marketing strategy and schedule. 

  • Plan, research, draft and finalize blog posts and white papers. 

  • Create presentations and resources for webinars, conferences and events. 

  • Create supplementary resources and activities to support Move This World’s curriculum and videos. 

  • Collaborate with like-minded organizations to co-author high quality resources.

  • Work with education publications to promote Move This World content and resources.

  • Develop and maintain relationships with local press and national press. 

  • Draft press releases and pitch compelling stories to education publications and news outlets in order to highlight and uplift Move This World partners. 

  • Compile proposals and resources to share with school districts. 

  • Work closely with Move This World’s Digital Marketing Associate to promote content marketing initiatives. 

  • Measure, analyze and report on the results of content marketing initiatives. 


  • Experience working in a K-12 school setting strongly preferred. 

  • Background in education and/or mental health field(s). 

  • Content marketing or writing experience preferred.

  • Bachelor’s Degree required. 

  • Understanding of the K-12 edtech market.

  • Strong knowledge of and experience with SEO.

  • Exceptional writing skills, with an ability to articulate Move This World’s vision and mission to various audiences. 

  • High attention to detail, strong organization skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
