Digital Media Producer

At Move This World, we’re looking for a full-time Digital Media Producer to support product development and key marketing initiatives in the US K-12 education space.

About Move This World

Move This World's social emotional learning program provides PreK-12 educators and students with video tools to strengthen their social and emotional wellbeing in order to create healthy environments where effective teaching and learning can occur. Through evidence-based, developmentally appropriate videos that open and close the school day, Move This World ritualizes a daily practice of identifying, expressing and managing emotions. The program is hosted on Move This World's online platform, which includes: educational videos, a social emotional learning resource library, interactive discussion boards, and a dedicated wellbeing consultant. To date, Move This World has impacted over half a million students and teachers across 24 states and Washington D.C

About the Role:

As Move This World’s Digital Media Producer, you will play a key role in the development of our video tools. You will oversee the entire production process and ensure that Move This World’s student facing curriculum is translated into easy-to-use, effective educational videos. You will be responsible for pre-production preparation, the management of on-set production, and will oversee the post-production editing process. You will coordinate the collection of assets in the form of photographs and video from our partner schools. You’ll work closely with our Program Director to produce our video tools and with our Partnerships Director to build out our collection of assets to be used in business development initiatives. You will help us ensure our message is heard.

  • Collaborate with the marketing and customer success teams to create and develop multimedia (audio/video) content for curriculum delivery, customer stories, internal company announcement videos, external promotional social videos, and product marketing videos.

  • Record and edit video and sound projects, including selecting program format for final output, capturing/importing media, organizing raw media, editing footage and sound files, creating and inserting static and motion graphics, titling, adding music/voice-over/sfx, media management and archiving project media.

  • Develop script, storyboard, budget, allocate resources, and select optimal forms of media for projects.

  • Work with Move This World’s partner schools to help facilitate the creation of multimedia content.

  • Develop graphics and fliers to be distributed to current and prospective partner schools.

  • Plan video shoots.

  • Develop production schedules.

  • Reserve and rent equipment (if/as needed).

  • Manage video library.


  • 1 to 3 years of digital media production experience required.

  • BA/BS or equivalent work experience.

  • Familiarity with professional cameras, prosumer camcorders, various HD and SD formats, pre-production/planning, studio and field production, lighting/grip, script writing, storyboarding and photography.

  • Familiarity with audio production including: small format mixers, compression, EQ, effects processors, audio recording techniques for studio and field, multi-track and waveform editing.

  • Experience working with editing software such as Final Cut Pro X, Adobe After Effects or Adobe Premiere.

  • Experience working with Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator.

  • Strong communication skills, with an ability to articulate Move This World’s vision and mission to various audiences.
