Face Off is an opening day exercise that appears in the Move This World Curriculum for Grades One and Two. Move This World's curriculum is reviewed by the American Institute of Research to ensure that each exercise is appropriately aligned to the social emotional learning core competencies and to ensure appropriate curricular pacing and scaffolding throughout the school year. The curriculum is broken down into phases that last one week, students will engage in Face Off during the seventh phase of the school year.
Objective: Students will be able to express how they’re feeling using facial expressions and identify how others are feeling by paying attention to their facial expressions.
