Match Maker is an opening day exercise that appears in the Move This World Curriculum for middle school. Move This World's curriculum is reviewed by the American Institute of Research to ensure that each exercise is appropriately aligned to the social emotional learning core competencies and to ensure appropriate curricular pacing and scaffolding throughout the school year. The curriculum is broken down into phases that last one week, students will engage in Matchmaker during the fifth phase of the school year.
Objective: Students will be able to recognize and explain how similarities and differences between individuals and groups contribute to stronger communities.
